Scope: Architectural finish of cast in place walls.
The site at which the 8-story medical building sits initially held a hospital in 1943 for the wounded returning from the Pacific Theatre during World War II. The structure as we see it today was completed in 1962 and has undergone various modifications and upgrades. The Harbor-UCLA Medical Center is also home of the Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute, a large non-profit biomedical research institute.
